Pair with music source device
Note that the ThermaTouch will not remember the source device and will need to be paired again for each new session.
Touch the Settings icon then select Bluetooth
Note your device name as it appears on the bottom of the list in uppercase. In this instance, it is THERMATOUCH, but your device may be different
Apple device example
On the source device, select THERMATOUCH. If it doesn't show up, switch off the Bluetooth for a few seconds, then switch it back on
Select Pair in the dialog box
The THERMATOUCH device should now be connected
Android device example
On the source device, select THERMATOUCH. If it doesn't show up, touch the SCAN button at the top
Select OK in the dialog box
The THERMATOUCH device should now be connected
Final steps on ThermaTouch screen
On the ThermaTouch, press the Back button several times to exit the Settings menu
From the Music screen, touch the Bluetooth button to select it as the source of music that will be sent to the ThermaTouch audio jack
The device should now be connected. Note that the Pause and Play buttons will not work until you have launched the app (on source device) that will be playing the music
Users with the Solitude Light and Sound device attached will also have equalizer controls available
Note: If there is a Solitude Light and Sound device connected to the system, the level of the audio output signal (routed from ThermaTouch to the Solitude device) will always be maximum. However, when there is no Solitude device connected, the volume control will directly change the volume of the audio output signal.
Pairing with Bluetooth speaker
You can also pair the ThermaTouch with a Bluetooth speaker:
Touch the Settings icon then select Bluetooth
If the speaker isn't visible in the list of available devices, touch the three dots in upper right, then select Refresh. Also, make sure the device is turned on and in pairing mode.
Select the speaker to pair with it
The speaker should now be connected
Touch the Back button several times to return
Note that when using a Bluetooth speaker, the controls on the Music screen should not be used because the Solitude Light and Sound device is not receiving the audio
You can now use a music streaming app
Note: If there is a Solitude Light and Sound device connected to the system, the sound level of the Bluetooth audio will always be maximum. In this case, you will need to use the Bluetooth speaker volume control to adjust the volume.
