ThermaTouch - Pair with Bluetooth music source

These instructions will help you pair a music source device (ThermaTouch receives the music)

This requires ThermaTouch version 8.2.0 or later

Step 1: 

We are looking at the ThermaTouch screen:

Touch Settings then touch Bluetooth

Step 2:

Touch Make discoverable (the ThermaTouch will remain discoverable for approximately 2 minutes)

Step 3: 

We are now looking at the screen of the source device:

On the source device, touch and hold the Bluetooth icon to open the Bluetooth settings

Step 4: 

Touch Scan, if needed

Scroll down to Available devices and select THERMATOUCH-xxxxxxx

Step 5: 

If a confirmation box appears on the source device, touch "Pair" or "Ok"

Step 6: 

We are now looking at the ThermaTouch screen:

The device should appear in the list of Paired devices.

For some phones, it may be necessary to disconnect and reconnect THERMATOUCH by touching it's entry in the list (on the phone) before it appears here in the list of Paired devices.

Touch the Music button at the top of the screen

Step 7: 

Touch the Bluetooth button to select the Bluetooth music source for input

Step 8: 

Verify that the device name is shown in green text

Occasionally, after logging back in to the ThermaTouch, the button may be highlighted orange, but no music is heard. If this happens, touch the Bluetooth button to turn it off, then touch the button a second time to turn it on. This happens because the light and sound head is not synchronized with the control.

Disable/Disconnect Bluetooth

Use these steps to turn off Bluetooth and disconnect:

Step 1: 

To disable the Bluetooth on the ThermaTouch, access the Android notification bar by swiping down from the top of the screen 3 times

Step 2: 

Touch the Bluetooth icon to disable

Step 3: 

Verify that the icon is gray, indicating that the Bluetooth has been disabled

Touch the screen beside the notification bar to dismiss

The Bluetooth can be reenabled by repeating this process until the icon turns white
