ThermaTouch - Connect device to internet (ver 8.2.0 and earlier)

This tutorial will help connect the ThermaTouch to a Wifi or LAN network to provide an internet connection.

WiFi connection

Step 1: Settings

Touch the Settings button

Step 2: Settings

Touch Setup

Step 3: Settings

Touch Scan

Step 4: Settings

Touch the network SSID

Step 5: Settings

Touch the Passphrase box to bring up the keyboard

Step 6: Settings

Enter the password then touch Connect

Step 7: Settings

Arrow back

Step 8: Settings

Verify that the SSID is correct

Step 9 (Optional): Notification bar

If the ThermaTouch is version 8.0 or later, swipe down to view the notification bar and verify that the WiFi icon is shown

LAN connection

Step 1: Notification bar

Make sure the LAN is connected to RJ45 connector on the back of the ThermaTouch

If the ThermaTouch is version 8.0 or later, swipe down to view the notification bar and verify that the LAN connection icon is shown

There are no settings to change for LAN connection. If LAN and WiFi are both connected, Android will use the LAN connection by default
