ThermaTouch - PowerFlush Needed (ver. 8.0 - 8.4.4)

Your steam generator has a cleaning feature that is called PowerFlush. This cycle is designed to break up any calcium and/or sediment that may collect inside of your generator. This build-up can cause the unit to experience water blockage and certain parts to wear out. ThermaSol recommends that you perform a Power Flush cycle at least once a month to extend the life of your generator. Your generator will require a PowerFlush to run after 1000 minutes of usage. You will see the following screen when the system will require for you to start the PowerFlush:

WARNING: IT IS IMPORTANT THAT NO ONE BE INSIDE SHOWER ENCLOSURE DURING THE POWERFLUSH CLEANING CYCLE
ALSO MAKE SURE TO CLOSE THE SHOWER DOOR DURING THE CYCLE

Touch Dismiss:

The user will not be allowed to navigate to another screen until the Power Flush is started. When ready, touch Power Flush:

Touch Yes in the confirmation box:

The Power Flush cycle will begin:

 At this point, there are two options:

Option 1:

Wait until the Power Flush cycle completes (about 45 minutes). The Maintenance counter will reset to zero, and you will not be required to run the cycle until the counter reaches 1000 again.

If the 45 minute cycle cannot be performed immediately, proceed to option 2.

Option 2:

There is a way to cancel the Power Flush cycle immediately. Touch the CANCEL POWER FLUSH button:

Touch Yes in the confirmation box:

Touch the Power button:

After this sequence, the Maintenance counter will be reset to zero. You will be allowed 1000 minutes of use before the system requires Power Flush again.
